Somerley is a privately owned Stately Home located on the Hampshire/Dorset border. Our ethos is to create a truly bespoke experience for our couples. We want every guest to be 'wowed' by the grandeur of Somerley, but leave feeling like they are part of the family.
Set in 7,000 acres of glorious Hampshire countryside, Somerley offers the opportunity to suit a variety of wedding styles. Newhouse
A stunning Grade I listed, Jacobean Manor House found twenty minutes south of the historic city of Salisbury, on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border.
We are approached by a long avenue, lined with lime and cherry trees, and boast wonderful lawns with stunning surrounding woodland.
Balmer Lawn Hotel
The Balmer Lawn is one of the most iconic buildings in the New Forest, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, rivers, wildlife and the stunning forest itself. You will experience a magical day in these beautiful and romantic surroundings. With our excellent level of service; two AA Rosette restaurant, two banqueting suites and our outdoor Sylvan Pavilion, you can expect nothing but the highest standards for your day.
Holywell Estate
A new and unique wedding venue within the South Downs National Park, situated in 900 acres of private land. Holywell is a truly magical setting.
With breathtaking views across unspoilt parklands; Holywell has several exclusive venue options to suit your special day. The rose garden is ideal for more intimate parties, complete with a fully equipped summerhouse kitchen. There is also the option of a marquee majestically placed in front of the manor house, with sweeping views over the ancient woodland avenue. Here, you are not limited to numbers.
Bowerchalke Barn
Bowerchalke Barn located in Wiltshire, with easy access from neighbouring Dorset, offers a unique and picturesque countryside venue for your wedding celebrations. Surrounded by 1000 acres of rolling Wiltshire farmland this atmospheric 16th century thatched threshing barn offers an enchanting setting for your wedding. You and your guests will have exclusive use of the barn and grounds to relax and enjoy the day.
Down House
Set on the edge of the New Forest, Down House offers an attractive countryside setting, with wonderful views down to the Avon valley. Verdant lawns and stunning scenery make it an idyllic venue for outdoor weddings.
Jermyn's House
When Sir Harold moved into Jermyn's House, the land around it was fields and paddocks; used for growing plants for the nursery. Sir Harold planted some of his treasured plants close to the house. The lawn at the side of the house was his private garden and here he planted the yew hedge for privacy. He also planted many other trees, including Metasequoia glyptostroboides, the seeds of which were from the original batch received by the Arnold Arboretum from China and distributed in 1948
Breamore House
Breamore House is a simply stunning venue for your wedding celebration. We offer a variety of receptions tailored to meet your needs.
You may choose to hire the Great Hall, which can comfortably seat up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast, or you might prefer to have a marquee erected within the grounds for a more informal celebration, but still take advantage of this fabulous setting.
Your own place
Marlin Marquees has worked in many privately owned gardens, fields and barns. Working with the space available and being able to offer various sized marquees, they can transform your venue to accommodate you and your guests.
